Mark K. McClain

As a teenager, I found both joy and relaxation in writing, with my style quickly evolving under the influence of authors like J.R.R. Tolkien, David Eddings, Isaac Asimov, Robert Jordan, Agatha Christie, and Stephen King, among many others. Throughout my 20 years in the military, I had the opportunity to travel extensively. These experiences deepened my love for worldbuilding and added a layer of realism to my writing. In addition to my creative work, I have also contributed over forty outdoor-themed articles as a columnist and staff writer for a local newspaper. My published works span a variety of subjects, including local history features, parenting columns, and international pieces written in both China and Uganda. Fantasy and science fiction have always held a special place in my heart, and sharing my passion for storytelling remains one of my greatest joys.
